Starting position
Face down on your forearms with one leg bent out to the side, the inner thigh resting on a foam roller that lies parallel to your body.
Set the roller just above the inside of the knee.
Shift as much weight onto the roller as you can tolerate, keeping the other leg long.
Use your forearms to slide the body sideways so the roller travels up the inner thigh toward the groin.
Roll back toward the knee, pausing on tender spots, then switch legs.
Breathing: Breathe slowly and let the inner thigh relax on each exhale.
Coaching tips
Small, slow rolls
Relax the leg on the roller
Forearms steer the movement
Common mistakes
Rolling onto the knee joint
Tensing the thigh
Moving too quickly
Safety notes
Stay below the groin crease and ease off any sharp or nerve-like pain.
